The last dragon was sighted 300 years ago - even most of the longer lived races don't remember them well, since dragons had still been scarce for at least an elven generation. Some believe they were hunted to extinction, others that they left to the sun lands beyond the sea, never to return.
Dragons have become entwined with myth and legend, ancient creatures of immense physical and arcane power. It is no wonder then, that several cults have arisen in their worship - all of them immensely dangerous and greatly feared by the larger population of Evanwyn...
Scholarship on the draconic cults is slim, and known to few. Those that dig too deeply or share their knowledge too freely are found gutted in a runnel, poisoned in a tavern, or worse. For those scholars and scribes who wish to handle such dangerous knowledge, these are some of the better-known dragons and their associated cults.
